WE BELIEVE man was created in the image of God. When the first man and woman, Adam and
Eve, yielded their thoughts, decisions, and actions to the temptation of Satan and made individual,
personal choices to disobey God, ushering sin and its curse into the world and upon the human
race for all generations to come. This fall from God’s grace put man in the position of needing
forgiveness in order that his fellowship with God would be restored.

WE BELIEVE God is Holy and pure, not accepting of sin but desiring an intimate relationship with
individual mankind. God's penalty, the consequence of sin, is spiritual death and eternal
separation from God.  As long as man continues to live in sin, he is dead spiritually and is facing
eternal hopelessness in the torments of hell upon physical death.

WE BELIEVE that God loves mankind and His relationship with us so much that He established
the one means by which our sins would be covered: the sacrifice of His son, Jesus Christ, and
the shedding of His blood. Therefore, He sent His son, Jesus Christ, into the world to take man's
sin upon Himself, upon the cross of Calvary. He shed of His own blood and life, as the FINAL
sacrifice, recompense for all sin, for all mankind who chooses to confess their sin before God
and BELIEVE in Jesus as Savior and Holy Son of God who is our mediator between God and
mankind. He is the only "way and truth and ife."

WE BELIEVE only those who personally proclaim the name of Jesus and receive Him into their
hearts and lives, by faith, are declared righteous by the sacrifice of His shed blood, not of their
own works of righteousness, and will live eternally in the presence of God after natural death.

WE BELIEVE that Jesus was conceived to natural life by the Holy Spirit through the virgin, Mary,
born from the virgin Mary into this world as both true God and human, the only sinless human
ever born into this world.

WE BELIEVE Jesus, upon His death, was buried and descended into hell to preach the salvation
message, and was resurrected to life on the third day. After appearing to various people during a
period of forty days on earth after His resurrection, He ascended into heaven and took His seat at
the right hand of God the Father for all eternity as the only mediator between God and man.

WE BELIEVE when a person confesses the fact that he is a sinner and acknowledges Jesus
Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, his spirit is reborn and he is a "new creation in Christ,"
adopted into the family of God, a member of the true body of Christ identified as the Church, and
is forever indwelled by God's Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE salvation through Jesus Christ is not the result of any human effort, but is the free
gift of God's grace through His son, Jesus Christ, who will physically return to the earth one day, unknown to man, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and declare final victory over sin and death.

WE BELIEVE Jesus destroyed all the works of Satan, who presently serves for an appointed time
as ruler of this world, leading a host of fallen angels, now called demons, who aid him in
deceiving mankind against Jesus Christ, and warring against every believer in Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE that believers must be ever alert and aware of the reality of spiritual warfare and
know that victory is OURS through Jesus Christ. To combat evil, we must make the daily, hourly
personal choice to be obedient to God's Word, practice the life applications and examples found
in His Word purposed for our good, our protection against evil, and our growth toward becoming
Christ-like and discovering His purpose for our life.

WE BELIEVE God sent His Holy Spirit with gifts to the Church - believers - to empower us, to be
our indwelling comforter and teacher until Jesus comes again. The gifts of The Holy Spirit are
alive and active today, just as they were in ancient Bible days. The Holy Spirit convicts mankind
of sin and is witness of Jesus Christ through us. The work of the Holy Spirit within us seals our
eternal salvation, regenerates and anoints us with power for good works, and sets us apart as
believers to a holy life, free of condemnation of sin.

WE BELIEVE Christ ordained the observances of water baptism by immersion, symbolizing His
death, burial, and resurrection, and the Lord's supper, symbolizing His broken body and shed
blood.

direct control, inspiration, and anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Bible does not simply contain the

revelation to man by our Creator, God.

WE BELIEVE the Bible increases man's faith, as well as instructs and corrects us through the
power of the indwelling Holy Spirit that we might become holy, separated from the world and pure
unto God. The main theme of the Bible is God's plan of salvation for mankind through the shed
blood of His only son, Jesus Christ, and our direction and instructions for carrying out our life in
light of God's unique purpose for each individual and the body of Christ, the church.

WE BELIEVE the Bible is the supreme and final authority in all matters pertaining to all things that
ever was, is, or will be, and that everything in the life of every human being is directly and/or
indirectly affected by his attitude and choices about the Bible - whether he accepts the Bible as
the only true, inspired Word of God or not.
