We are seeking Christ followers (women & men), with these five (5) qualities (the number meaning 'Grace'): God-gifted, seasoned writers; seasoned in the Word and in your faith in Jesus Christ; passionate about the Word and the creative art of writing; unafraid to write real-life TRUTH, no holds barred, candidly addressing the nitty-gritty issues that women of all ages and stages (and teenage girls), face day-to-day, in a dark, decaying, hopeless, depressing, disappointing, and too often devastating life; unafraid to write motivating and inspiring TRUTH, pointing to the only WAY, TRUTH, and LIFE - Jesus Christ - as the answer to all our needs and desires, through the principles and promises of God's ALIVE Word: the Bible.
		WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT US to serve as a contributing writer: The Sara Ministry is dedicated to the emotional and spiritual needs and desires of ALL women of all ages, stages, ethnicity, beliefs, backgrounds, life circumstances.... The following is only a few examples of what we mean by 'ALL' women. This list is in no particular order or purpose or priority.. Every issue and every woman breathing is important to us, and the one we want to reach, speak truth to, teach, encourage, inspire, and motive through God's principles and promises toward "becoming ALL God created her to be," uniquely for a distinctive purpose. Therefore, this list is far from comprehensive and thereby opens to the contributing writer a deep ocean of subjects / topics via the writing opportunities listed in the left column and detailed on the next page: The term 'women' includes teenage girls. The following is only a SAMPLING of the countless issues women face in life: women imprisoned in their homes by abusive husbands, parents, relatives... women imprisoned emotionally / spiritually by legalism taught in their childhood... women imprisoned emotionally / spiritually by guilt, shame, regret, anger, injustices against them, addictions, depression, worthlessness, loniness..... women serving time in prison / correctional facilities, teen girls' homes... women grieving the loss of their child, spouse, mother, sibling to death...or loss of relationship... women who watched their sons, daughters, spouses get on 'the bus' for boot camp to military manhood / womanhood, and are spending their next minimum 4 years anxious, consumed, worried... single women who desire to embrace living single, living a Godly life as a single, and those single who desire a husband, a family... single mothers... married women who suffer from infertility... pregnant single women and teenagers... moms with pregnant teenage daughters, challenging / delinquent teens... moms with emotionally / mentally / physically challenged children... women working outside or from their homes, striving to balance career, family, to make ends meet financially... women imprisoned / overburdened by their work / profession, their workplace, their employers, work peers, finances... women at home who are lonely, strained with the responsibilities as a wife and/or mother, as a widow / divorcee', as a home-schooling mom... lacking a venue through which she is emotionally and spiritually fed, encouraged, inspired, motivated, and/or lacking opportunities to minister to others...hungry for adult attention, conversation, friendships... women who have lost custody of / relationships with their children... women who have made the choice of abortion, adultery, promiscuity.... and those whose choice was taken from them... women addicted to illigal and/or over-the-counter drugs, alcohol, food, gambling, spending, male / femail sexual relationships... anything that controls her... women with emotionally and/or physically disintersted, uninvested spouses as a husband and/or dad, and/or unfaithful spouse.... women with ex-husbands who are uncooperative and/or uninvested emotionally / financially in support of their children... women recovering from the life-long impacting devastation of childhood abusive, incest, rape, violence, abandonment, loss... women living in or recovering from abusive adult relationships, rape, violence, divorce, prostitution, female trafficing... pastors' wives - they carry an unbelievably heavy weight coupled with loneliness... women serving in church or other ministry leadership roles... women caring for long-term ill / dying loved ones... women suffering with chronic illnesses / disabilities... women who don't know where / how they fit into God's plan for their life, what that plan might be, who God created them to be as a unique individual with unique personalities designed for a distinctive purpose... women who believe / feel they have no gifts, nothing to offer others.... who don't know how to find their place in life, in God's Kingdom work.... who don't know God's purpose/ mission for their lives... women who are Christ-followers but don't know or understand practically what it means to live life as a true princess: the daughter of the King of Kings... women who are hungry for daily practical-life devotions from God's Word that will inspire, encourage, motivate them through their day... and those hungry for the deeper truths and revelations of God's Word... Simply put again, The Sara Ministry is for EVERY WOMAN. Although 'Sara's' life story weighs heavily toward issues encompassing childhood abuse and incest with myriad conse- quences victims face daily as a surviving adult, our mission is FAR FROM limited to issues of abuse recovery! ALL issues and circumstances that women and teenage girls are immersed in practically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally in day-to-day life are those The Sara Ministry is dedicated to ministering to in a number of ways on-line and in person. One way is through the work of Godly, Bible-rooted writers who will address straight forward truths of REAL LIFE in a hard, real world, while interweaving the POWER of God's living principles and promises that are THE ANSWERS. Our Isaiah 61 mandate calls us to encourage, inspire, and motivate women to move from mere "surviving" daily life with all their baggage and burdens, to THRIVING by practicing the transformation of Romans 12:2 toward becoming ALL God created each uniquely to be for a DISTINCTIVE PURPOSE. YOUR SUBMISSIONS / OUR MISSION: We trust that what you submit to us will have first been entered into with PRAYER for God's divine leadership through your writing. It is the power of God working in and through our skills and passions that impacts and changes lives for Christ; - not simply our abilities and passions alone. To effectively minister to women as a writer through The Sara Ministry, you must be familiar with and write within the boundaries of our mission statement which includes, in short: "Taking women from surviving to thriving." through the principles and promises of God's Word.
