Read & Respond Story Are You Ready? Hey Girls! If the world were to end today would you be ready? Have you ever really thought about it? Does it even matter? We’re all going to die someday, so it’s really no big deal. It surely isn’t something to worry about, right? Salvation Prayer Whether it matters is up to you as an individual, but here’s something to think about…eternity in Heaven or Hell. Where do you want to end up? Personally, I want to be in Heaven and I want you to be there too, but the decision is up to you. Here’s some help in making that decision… Every Person Is Separated From God By Their Personal Sin “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23, NIV Jesus Died On The Cross To Take Away The Doom Of Our Sins “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23, NIV Admit, Believe, and Confess “But what does it say? ‘The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,’ that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.’ For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile – the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Romans 10:8-14, NIV So, here it is girls… If you are ready to become a Christian and accept God’s gift of salvation then you need to admit to Christ that you are a sinner, separated from God by your sin. You need to truly believe in your heart that Jesus Christ came to earth as a babe, died on the cross for your sins, and rose again so we might have eternity with Him in Heaven. Then call on Christ in prayer, confessing your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart. If you prayed to Jesus, you can trust in God that you have been saved and will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. You are now a part of the royal family; an adopted daughter of the King.
